We’ve successfully deployed the country’s first 400G technology on our fiber-optic network, increasing our data capacity to be able to deliver high speeds equivalent to over 180,000 HD video streams at the same time or more than 70,000 songs downloaded in a single second! The 400G technology significantly increases the network’s data to provide more data through existing fiber networks, carrying capacity, and can deliver up to 400 billion bits of information per second. Our 400G network is currently carrying live customer traffic across the Lahore metro region.

The results are in – 2Q20 Result: We’re Expanding our Digital Services, 4G Capacity, and Network Roll Out

As per our 2Q20 performance results, our 4G customer base reached 19.1 million with 71.5% YoY growth, 4G base stations reached over 10,000 with 17% YoY while data consumption showed 97.9% YoY growth with 3.63GB per user consumption. JazzCash also showed promising 2Q20 results with active mobile wallets reaching 8.1 million with 41% YoY growth. JazzCash remains popular among freelancers, with 76,000 registered freelancers with 1.23 PKR transactions. It has proved to be the leading digital payments platform with overall transactions reaching 900 million, amassing to 1.7 PKR trillion transactions over last 12 months.
