We’re on our way to deploy the biggest Telco Cloud Solution, distributed amongst four regions (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad) to ensure network redundancy with high throughput and low latency. The platform is completely virtualized and equipped with the latest SDN technology, helping Jazz not only lead the forefront of digitalization, but also reap from its benefits by optimizing the end customer experience, improving total cost of ownership, and responding to emerging opportunities.

Furthermore, Jazz has recently successfully completed the commercial launch of integrated VNFs in Karachi and Islamabad. These are key enablers to allow for network transformation. This allows us to move the complete Packet Core Evolution from a legacy approach to a world leading Open Stack virtualized architecture.

During the next few months, the company will continue building on this platform and start virtualizing all Core Network Functions that currently exist on proprietary hardware. Once fully deployed, the newly built Cloud platform will drastically improve response time to customer requests, provide more freedom in building customers solutions, and result in the addition of new revenue streams.

The move will also bring efficiency, scalability, and automation to the Jazz network, which is a key enabler for bringing quality network services to end customers.
