The spectrum allocated to a network will always be limited in a market where demand for data is increasing exponentially; we have to come up with a new solution every day for the maximum utilization of available spectrum. Understanding the need for the ever-growing demand for high-speed Data, Massive MIMO trials [32T32R] were conducted in two of the most densely populated cities of Pakistan with major capacity constraints even after spectrum enhancement: Lahore and Faisalabad. Massive MIMO solution allows us to increase the capacity of the network without the additional spectrum. Massive MIMO is widely regarded as a key update of multiple-antenna technology in the 4.5G era and transitory step from LTE to 5G. Using Massive MIMO, Jazz was able to claim a new speed record of 539Mbps across 5 devices in Lahore.
