As the COVID-19 cases started to roll in and the government decided to initiate a lockdown, the Corporate Affairs (CA) team known for firefighting, immediately started its stakeholder management. The CA team’s foremost task was to get telecom services declared as essential services. With over 400 engagements at the policy level nationwide, the team successfully got an exemption for telecom services. Since the lockdown, the team has managed to support business in ensuring franchise operations, movements of technical teams, protecting data and has actively participated in distribution of relief packages.
