What is Head of Power Planning?

This position will lead team to optimize, re-design our energy portfolio and tower design. Bring Efficient Energy Solutions on sites considering grid availability and field challenges, operational efficiency and sustainability. Lean and robust Civil infrastructure under considerations of geographical, climate and sustainability. Establish strong governance processes, controls and discipline to meet intended outcomes.

The role reports directly to the CEO Deodar and has 05 people reporting directly into it

What does Head of Power Planning do?

• Deliver Energy Efficient AC/DC Power Systems for Telecom infrastructure considering grid availability and field challenges, geographical, climate, operational efficiency and sustainability
• Innovate products and solutions for an effective roadmap towards reducing energy cost and carbon emissions
• Establish strong governance processes, controls and discipline to meet intended outcomes of energy consumption, cost and climate goals
• Strategize, develop, plan and execute Sustainable and Renewable energy roadmap
• Develop feasibility, viability studies, TCO and business cases for cost benefit analysis of initiatives
• Utilize Machine Learning, Big data and advance data analytics techniques to improve design and planning, and reduce energy leakages in form of pilferages and field in-efficiencies
• Effectively engage with all internal and external stakeholders for impact realization of all initiatives and targets
• Experience of leading successful teams

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Power Planning?

• Electrical Engineering
• 10 + Year of Experience in Design, planning of Passive Infrastructure for Telco Network
• Strategizing and executing successful Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Advanced Data Analytics programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
• Negotiation skills
• Conflict management
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Analytical skills
• Detail and result oriented, persistent, confident, adaptable and positive attitude
