What is ‘Brand Manager’?

As a Brand Manager you will lead brand strategy and marketing execution through consumer insights, strong positioning, and consistent identity across all channels. The responsibilities for this role include overseeing creative, digital, and product-aligned initiatives while using analytics to optimize performance and ROI.

 

You will manage teams, partners, and budgets to deliver impactful campaigns that drive growth and brand relevance with 1-2 direct reports and an extended team of 14 members.

 

What does ‘Brand Manager’ do?

 

·        Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.

·        Shape and communicate our vision and mission.

·        Lead the development and execution of Brand Strategy based on the Business Objectives & Strategy

·        Work as a part of the product team to develop the right brand initiatives and communications.

·        Develop and implement brand strategies and marketing campaigns.

·        Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.

·        Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action.”

·        Ensure brand consistency across various marketing initiatives and channels.

·        Oversee UI/UX of apps and new product journeys.

·        Plan, execute and optimize online marketing campaigns across various platforms.

·        Utilize range of performance marketing techniques including PPC, SEO, Programmatic and retargeting et al

·        Utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touch points.

·        Develop testing plans for creative, messaging and landing pages to improve KPIs.

·        Implement data driven adjustments to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costs.

·        Ensure excellence in all brands related activity, while continually challenging the status quo to drive actionable insights which will fuel our brand’s growth.

·        Monitor and analyze market feedback and adjust marketing communications.

·        Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs

·        Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data driven decisions to optimize brand strategy and campaigns.

·        Keep upto date with industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to continuously improve brand indicators.

·        Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends and opportunities and align all marketing activities accordingly.

·        Monitor market trends, research competitors’ activities, and evaluate its impact on the brand.

·        Manage Brand’s presence across various touchpoints specifically digital/social to create relevance within the intended audience.

·        Build the team for performance and growth.

·        Coordinate with external agencies and partners for brand promotion.

·        Budget management along with Agency performance

·        Manage budgets for marketing communications activities in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

·        Ability to manage creative partners and their management, while developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both external and internal

·        Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with the brand strategy.

·        Quarterly/Annual Reviews with insights and clear-cut action plans

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be ‘Job Title’?

 

1.      Degree in Marketing/Communications/Business or equivalent

2.      Minimum of 8+ years relevant Marketing or relevant experience

3.      Demonstrated ability to assist in developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy.

4.      Experience of working in a tech / start-up / digital portfolio coupled with understanding of telecom market

5.      Experience in managing end-to-end digital performance marketing campaigns.

6.      A thinker with deep understanding of 3 C’s (Consumer, Customer, Competition), trends, practices, information, and insights impacting the business, enabling sound decisions to be made.

7.      Experienced in working closely and effectively with teams and stakeholders. We need people who know the value of building relationships and the ability to support at all levels of an organization.

8.      Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills are required.

9.      Strong skills in critical thinking, data analysis and identifying and communicating marketing and audience-led insights.
