What is Expert Digital Products - Insurance?

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Insurance Expert to manage our insurance business vertical, driving growth, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence across life, health, and non-life insurance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in digital insurance, product management, and AI-powered solutions such as personalized policy recommendations, automated underwriting, and claims optimization. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance innovation, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics. The Insurance Expert will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric, compliant, and scalable insurance solutions.

What does Expert Digital Products - Insurance do?

• Design and develop digital-first insurance products for Fikrfree, in collaboration with underwriters, reinsurers, and partners.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring ongoing optimization and performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with SECP and regulatory bodies, handling documentation and regulatory engagement.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate insurance services seamlessly into Fikrfree’s digital ecosystem.
• Manage API integrations with partners for real-time policy and claims data exchange.
• Optimize claims processes for speed, transparency, and customer trust, managing SLAs with insurance partners.
• Oversee the full insurance journey in the app, from onboarding to claim submission and renewal.
• Plan and prioritize new features, including AI-powered personalized policy recommendations, claims tracking, and premium reminders.
• Provide UX/UI guidance for a seamless user experience, especially for first-time insurance users.
• Improve customer support workflows, including AI-driven chatbots and FAQs.
• Monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities for product and user experience improvements.
• Ensure insurance documents are user-friendly and downloadable within the app.
• Lead UAT for insurance-related app updates, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Manage financials for the insurance business, including budgets, forecasting, and ensuring profitability through pricing and product strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience with API-based insurance platforms or embedded insurance models.
• Familiarity with AI/ML in insurance (claims automation, fraud detection).
• Exposure to health tech, fintech, or digital financial services.
• Understanding of actuarial concepts and insurance pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and business modeling.
• Skilled in creating PowerPoint presentations for internal and partner discussions.
• Ability to analyze user analytics (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics) for insights.
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance.
