Role Purpose
The Head of Solution Consulting is responsible for defining and driving the cloud & cybersecurity solution strategy, leading the architecture and pre-sales organization, and enabling scalable growth across enterprise cloud, security, and AI platforms. This role ensures the delivery of industry-grade cloud solutions, monetised offerings, and a strong OEM ecosystem while shaping the long-term platform and product roadmap.
1. Strategy, Platforms & Roadmaps
· Own and drive the multi-cloud, cybersecurity, and AI platform strategy, ensuring seamless coexistence, interoperability, and commercial scalability.
· Develop and maintain the Platform Roadmap spanning infrastructure, cloud services, security controls, and AI capabilities.
· Own the Product Roadmap for cloud & cybersecurity offerings using an outside-in approach based on customer needs, market demand, regulations, and competitive insights.
· Define and enforce enterprise-level architecture principles, reference designs, and technical standards across cloud and security platforms.
2. Solution Consulting & Architecture Leadership
· Lead end-to-end solution consulting: >> discovery >> architecture ‚>> costing ‚>> proposals ‚>> delivery handover.
· Deliver secure, scalable enterprise cloud architectures for assessment, migration, modernization, compliance, and managed services.
· Build industry cloud verticals (Banking, Government, Health) with ISVs, regulatory frameworks, and sector-specific use cases.
3. Customer Engagement & Sales Collaboration
· Work closely with Sales to qualify opportunities, refine solution scope, and co-engage enterprise customers.
· Elevate customer conversations through architecture-led storytelling, benchmarking, and use-case mapping.
· Lead technical governance for large RFPs, bids, and executive-level solution presentations.
4. Team Development & Capability Building
· Transform the pre-sales team into a fully independent Solution Architecture & Consulting organisation with strong industry understanding and domain depth.
· Build capability across Cloud Architects, Security Architects, Solution Consultants, and GTM/Monetisation specialists.
· Create reusable IP: reference architectures, pricing tools, migration frameworks, and solution accelerators.
5. Ecosystem, OEM & ISV Leadership
· Strengthen ecosystem partnerships with AWS, Cloudflare, Huawei, VMware, Red Hat, and local ISVs to support cloud verticals and regulated workloads.
· Leverage OEM programs for co-selling, PoCs, certifications, training, and funding.
· Build solution stacks that integrate OEM technologies and align with the platform and product roadmap.
6. Productisation & Monetisation
· Develop packaged cloud/security offerings with pricing frameworks, cloud economics, and TCO/ROI tools.
· Ensure offerings are regulation-ready, repeatable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and customer outcomes.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or MBA. Combination of both is preferred
· 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales, or enterprise consulting, product ideally in cloud, tech, or SI environments
· Deep understanding of enterprise technologies including cloud platforms (VMware, Redhat OpenShift, Azure/AWS), cybersecurity, both on prem and as a service
· Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and support multimillion-dollar sales pursuits
· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical features into business value
· Excellent communication, storytelling, and client-facing skills
· Certifications in relevant domains (Cloud, Security) preferred
