What is Network Deployment Expert?

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Network Deployment Expert to join our team. This role is part of the Network Rollout function within the Network Deployment department. The unit is responsible for ensuring the implementation of Rollout initiatives including New Sites Buildout, Backhaul Implementations (Microwave and Optical Fiber) and associated Site Civil Works for the smooth execution of projects. In addition to having a good understanding of Network Deployment and basic technical knowledge, this role requires maintaining good relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about new technologies implementation in cellular networks with hands on experience with deployment of RAN, Power and Transport networks focusing Fiber Deployment along with associated Civil works and Optical Systems Integrations.

Network Deployment Expert will manage reporting and performance of Telco deployments at BSS sites, Deployment of Optical Fiber and Civil Works supervision ensuring quality work and managing implementation of activities aligned with project plans coordinating with stakeholders from TowerCos, Vendors, Network Planning and Operations Teams.

The role reports to the Manager Rollout North with an extended team of 7 team members.

What does Expert Network Deployment do?

• Assist the Line Manager with the smooth execution and delivery of various Deployment Projects assigned by management from time to time, especially in the rollout domain
• Manage the projects end to end including PIP development, reporting, risk management, stakeholder management and quality control
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns based on data, identifying areas of improvement and growth opportunities in Civil Works, Power Solutions, RAN and Transport Networks.
• Develop and maintain real-time reporting dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio or Power BI to track key performance indicators.
• Track and report on daily and monthly campaign spending to ensure adherence to budget and time limitations.
• Collaborate with the Vendors, Subcontractors and Internal stakeholders to align reporting efforts with business goals.
• Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance against industry standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in in network rollout activities preferably Site Buildout and Optical Fiber Networks
• Experience of Project management ensuring milestones achievement history.
• Proficiency in Different components of RAN and backhaul solutions.
• Strong understanding of site related Civil Works Design and Implementation.
• Experience with data visualization and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Deliver Regulatory/Special Projects assigned by the line manager from time to time.
• Create an enabling environment for line managers by building strong business relationships with external stakeholders for the smooth execution of specially assigned projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
