What is ZM Field Operations?

ZM Field operations look after Access Network Operations of Cell Sites of set of Micro business units in line with business goals and company strategy and ensure to achieve assigned commercial region targets. ZM leads a medium size team of engineers & technicians to ensure the network performance in his/her region.

Main tasks include leading & mentoring the team, ensuring Network Uptime, SLA compliance, Vendor Performance Management for MBU operations and all KPI targets achievements against the assigned MBU including PM execution, Fuel management, TCH, and Network Availability.

The role reports directly to the Regional Operations Head, Technology, and it also includes the serving/coordination for all other mobile operators in the same area of responsibility.

What does ZM Technology do?

-      Ensure DC-Power Availability is above the target values, every month in all his MBUs.

-      Site Uptime & Efficiency Analysis.

-      OPEX management

-      Process digitization ins day to days tasks.

-      Performance monitoring to ensure all Technical KPIs.

-      PM/CM management in all MBUs and ensure uniformity of process in all MBUs.

-      Governance meetings with FLM/SEC vendors to resolve all issues as per SLA.

-      Strict checks on vendors for human/material resources within MBUs and SOPs compliance.

-      Competence gap analysis for vendor’s and to take timely actions for shortcomings.

-      Maintain customer complaint SLA above 95% and manage SLAs

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be MBU Tech/Engr?

·       BSc. Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom with minimum 8 Years of Relevant experience.

·       Expertise in Power infrastructure, both AC & DC, Rectifiers and RMS troubleshooting.

·       Experience of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of non-telco equipment.

·       Customer centric approach to identify and fix network issues.

·       Flexibility of working hours in case of operational emergencies.

·       Good inter-personal and communication skills.

·       Experienced in small to medium level team management

·       Team Management Skills

·       Self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard worker and out of box thinker.
