Role Overview:

The Project Management Expert will be responsible for end-to-end project management related to site readiness from the Tower Company to the Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, monitoring and closure of multiple site rollout projects, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will be a Civil or Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing telecom infrastructure projects, site readiness, and cross-functional coordination among various stakeholders, including network deployment, operations, commercial teams, and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies for site rollout and readiness.
• Ensure seamless coordination between Tower-Co, MNOs, site acquisition, design, civil, electrical, and power planning teams to meet project timelines.
• Monitor site preparation activities, ensuring that all work related to civil, tower, electrical, and grounding readiness is executed per approved standards.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination:

• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for project execution, ensuring strong collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and business partners.
• Regularly engage with MNOs to align project timelines, resolve bottlenecks, and expedite approvals for seamless project execution.
• Conduct progress review meetings with vendors and contractors, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure all construction and installation activities meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
• Validate site readiness for RFAI (Ready for Active Installation) status through rigorous site inspections and quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations throughout project execution.

Budget & Cost Control:

• Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or efficiency.
• Assist in financial planning and forecasting related to rollout projects.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain detailed project reports, dashboards, and progress updates for senior management.
• Provide timely escalation and mitigation plans for any project delays or issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of site survey reports, permits, approvals, and project closure documents.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom infrastructure project management, site deployment, and construction.
• Strong knowledge of telecom site acquisition, civil & electrical works, and tower infrastructure.
• Experience in handling multiple projects, working with vendors, and managing MNO expectations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Project management expertise with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle project roadblocks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of telecom regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred but not mandatory).
