What is Expert NAAS Performance Analyst?

Working in 24 x 7 – Shifts for fault monitoring, troubleshooting/providing first level support for ongoing issues related to IT and NSS domains.

The role reports directly to the Manager NSSIT Supervision and this team comprises 8 team members.

What does Expert NAAS Performance Analyst?

Key responsibilities

• Fault Monitoring and reporting for IT nodes.
• NMS Health Checks.
• Service Requests Handling.
• Health Checks of various platforms/tools.
• Real time Performance management & troubleshooting.
• Engagement and escalation with stakeholder.
• Health Checks for various platform.
• Monitoring of complete E2E network connectivity, Infrastructure, Firewalls, VDC and NSX-T nodes.
• Complaints Handling of SMSC.
• Designing of monitoring solutions.
• Collaboration with multiple stakeholder teams.
• Management and maintenance of AppDynamics Infrastructure and environment.
• Handling of OSS L-1 operational issues.
• Planned Network activities support.

Key Deliverables 

• Alarm monitoring of various IT nodes. Must have a good knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
• Service impact calculation of outage incidents.
• JAZZCASH and Cloud Monitoring.
• OSS tools Health Check for auto escalations.
• Major KPI trends monitoring and reporting.
• Provide support to field teams for Network Planned Activities and to do pre-post verifications.
• Notifications Tool Health Check to ensure smooth working of all auto and manual escalations.

Requirements

Experience and Educational requirements

• B.S. or B.Sc. Electrical/Telecom/Computer Engineering/IT.
• Prior working Experience in a NOC Environment.
• Hands on experience with IT equipment.
• Willing to work in shifts, on holidays & emergencies.
• Soft skills and technical skills required.
• Good understanding of IT technologies.
• Thorough know-how of network topologies and their inter-working.
• Hands-on experience of NMS systems and associated software tools.
• Fault Management Procedures & Industry Practices.
• Deep understanding of Network Operations Environment.
• Customer Centric Approach to facilitate the internal customer teams.
• Computer Proficiency, MS Office must include MS Visio & Power point.
• Good Communication and Presentations skills.
