What is Specialist/ Expert Regulatory Projects, Cyber Security Regulatory & PR?

This role is part of the Regulatory Projects, Interconnect, and Cyber Security Regulatory & PR unit within the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs department. The unit is responsible for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and creating an enabling environment for the smooth execution of special projects assigned by senior Jazz management. In addition to having a good understanding of cybersecurity regulations, legal perspectives, and basic technical knowledge, this role requires maintaining good relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

What Specialist/ Expert Regulatory Projects, Cyber Security Regulatory & PR will do?

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an advisor to line managers by having a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory and legal frameworks in the country.
• Advise line managers in the formulation of upcoming cybersecurity policies being developed at various public sector outfits in support of Jazz.
• Work with internal Cyber Security/ISG teams in the formulation of responses to any queries by MoIT, PTA, etc., and ensure internal compliance.
• Extend support to Jazz's internal team by arranging approvals from external stakeholders for the smooth delivery of business-critical projects.
• Deliver Regulatory/Special Projects assigned by the line manager from time to time.
• Build good relationships with key external stakeholders like PTA, MoIT, and other relevant government entities for the smooth delivery of Regulatory Projects.

Key Deliverables

• Assist the Line Manager with the smooth execution and delivery of various Regulatory Projects assigned by management from time to time, especially in the cybersecurity domain.
• Create an enabling environment for line managers by building strong business relationships with external stakeholders for the smooth execution of specially assigned projects.
• Develop a good reputation and relations with public sector entities, especially MoIT and PTA, for acquiring business-critical approvals.
• Timely issue warnings in case any impending threat or delay is foreseen in the execution of your roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain constant liaison with all types of external stakeholders to support Jazz's internal teams.

Requirements

What are we looking for, and what does it require to be Specialist/ Expert Regulatory Projects, Cyber Security Regulatory & PR?

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Telecom, Software Engineering, Marketing, or Law.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity and reputable certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capacity to develop diverse teams to achieve assigned goals.
• Extracurricular activities demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
