What is Expert Partnerships and Sponsorships?
The role reports directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 6 team members
- Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where the candidate will learn Jazz’s values, business and products
- Meet relevant stakeholders and teams handling various business streams such as Pricing, Voice/VAS/Data, Market research, MFS, Digital channels etc.
- Develop understanding of the Jazz brand, its philosophy, brand strategy and creative direction
- Establish a good relationship with relevant stakeholders e.g. creative, media, brands, digital and activations agencies
- Develop thorough consumer/industry understanding & help generate ideas that further build operational efficiencies in line with the strategic growth plan
- Liaison with various business teams (Data, VAS, Voice, Mobile Financial Services) to fulfil their operational needs.
- Work with internal & external teams to develop, analyze, review and recommend solutions, which matches the business needs, & deliver on requirements.
- Gain deep understanding of the competitor’s strategy & working and proactively propose counter measures
- Be developing and delivering Annual Partnership & Sponsorship plans
- From various business information sources (Business Intelligence Reports, Brand Health Trackers, Traffic, ARPU & churn figures) propose action items aimed at both long & short term objectives
- Assist the Operations Manager in developing partnership plans and strategies for effective utilization
- Development & Deployment, Portfolio Analysis, Target Audience Profiling, Consumer Insight Generation etc.
- Steer the external partners of the operations management function which include creative, media, brand to ensure that all teams work in synergy
- Pro-actively propose and ensure delivery for the digital, sponsorship, partnership & media platforms resulting in brand growth via alternate media vehicles
- Closely monitor the successful ideas in the regional/global Telecom markets and evaluate them for local implementation
- Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, and the events team to develop high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship models, in line with the Fund’s ethical collaboration policy
- Ensure that event sponsorship products are consistent with our corporate partnership programmes, and maximise opportunities for cross selling of sponsorship and partnership programmes
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters, through securing and leading new business meetings, and maintaining strong relationships
- Writing high quality external communications documents, including sponsorship marketing materials as required (working closely with the events team)

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert partnerships and sponsorships?
- Preferably a graduate with 2-3 years of experience
- Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement; the candidate must be able to develop top notch presentations
- The candidate must be able to coordinate with vendors and agencies to smoothly execute on-ground activities and manage inventory for the same.
- Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Should be able to demonstrate leadership and team skills
- Firm grip of business management, brand development and marketing communication tools and relevant frameworks
- High level of initiative and self-drive
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
