What is Expert QoS & Operations Performance ?

We are looking for someone who has already delivered on challenging projects. And has taken end to end responsibility from analysing large amount of data to compressing it into actionable insights to presenting it in a structured manner. Prior understanding of Network Operations in addition with effective reporting. The Technology Performance team serves as a strategic enabler for internal departments (such as Network Planning, Operations, Commercial, Customer Experience) & management by providing data-driven insights, KPI trends, and performance analytics to support decision-making. A 15-member team (including the department head) with 04 sub teams.

What does Expert QoS & Operations Performance do?

• Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where the candidate will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products.
• Meet relevant stakeholders and teams handling various business streams such as regional operations, Optimization, Logistics, Power Planning, Finance NOC, Business Intelligance & commercial, etc.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and risk assessments to ensure KPIs performance and quality of service in Network availability & Power domain of Telecom sites.
• Develop thorough understanding of Jazz Network and associated entities.
• Develop and maintain Operational reports on Network availability & power domain with analysis on top for improvement areas.
• To have knowledge & expertise in BSS/TXN/Power infrastructure.
• Close coordination with CRA/Technical teams for resolution of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of 2G/4G KPIs.
• Track and manage operational escalations and resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and risk assessments to ensure vendor reliability and quality of service.
• Provide management with bird’s eye view of network performance Through dashboards & reports while adhering to strict timelines on Network availability reports & power domain.
• Generate impact assessment report on KPIs to monitor KPI degradations & network outages.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network issues & implementation of preventive measures to prevent further degradation.
• Enhanced passive alarm reduction Through knowledge sharing & process automation.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Expert QoS & Operations Performance ?

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Telecom/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in QoS, technology Performance Management, or Telecom Operations.
• Strong knowledge of telecom hardware and network components with hands on efficient reporting as well.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in vendor performance tools and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• High level of initiative and self-drive.
• Expertise in RAN, Operations, making dashboards & some knowledge on RF will be added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with NMS tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
