Position Overview:
The Field audit and security Manager is responsible for conducting audits of operational sites, ensuring best field practices, integrity and team’s health and safety. This role oversees risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, incident management, and audits while fostering a culture of safety, integrity and accountability within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit & Compliance
- Plan and execute site audits to assess compliance with security, and operational standards.
- Track audit findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Mystery shopping against fuel and power theft complaints.
- Review vendor’s standard performance and preparing RCA of the violations/failures.
2. Security Management
- Oversee security measures for tower sites, offices, and assets (e.g., access control, CCTV, asset security).
- Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analyses to address risks such as theft, vandalism, sabotage, or terrorism.
- Manage crisis response plans for security breaches or emergencies.
3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs are being implemented in field work, as per company standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace risks (e.g., tower climbing, electrical hazards).
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans for accidents, near-misses, or environmental incidents.
- Organize HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain HSE documentation, including permits, licenses, and incident reports.
4. Leadership & Reporting
- Lead a team of HSE regional Leads and audit specialists.
- Report HSE and security performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, HR, legal, CRA) to embed safety and security into business processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security resilience and reduce risks.
Requirements
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Elect/Telecom Engineering, Field operations and HSSE certifications would be preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years in Telecommunication industry, preferably in telecom operations or audit & security.
- Knowledge of telecom tower safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving expertise.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
Work Environment
- Frequent travel to tower sites and within the assigned regions.
- Exposure to outdoor environments.
