What is Expert Statutory Reporting?

This role requires its performer to prepare financial statements for our HQ entities under the Jurisdiction specific rules in which they operate in. This also means getting some of these entities audited & later filed with relevant authorities.

The role reports directly to the Head of External and Statutory Reporting and administrative reporting to the Senior Manager External Reporting and is a sole contributor role with an extended team of 5 team members.

What does Expert Statutory Reporting do?

·       Preparation of financials statements within due timelines

·       Getting them audited as per schedule agreed with Stakeholders

·       File financials with relevant authorities with due timeline

·       Coordinate with functions to get relevant information required for this role

·       Work closely with external reporting team for special purpose financial preparation

·       Ensure Wdesk is up to date all the time and all financials are directly extracted from there

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Statutory Reporting?

·        Strong IFRS knowledge is a must

·        Relevant work experience (min 3-5 years) of statutory reporting.

·        Knowledge of US GAAP an added advantage

·        Strong Microsoft office grip

·        Work experience of managing audit of multiple entities simultaneously

·        Ability to deliver on tight deadlines

·        Sound communication & analytical skills

·        Idea of local accounting laws in Cyprus & UK would be an added advantage

·        Detail oriented

·        Strong excel skills

·        Ability to schedule tasks to enable completion of reporting for a jurisdiction
