Manager DBSS Solutions

The Telecom IT-DBSS Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Support Systems (BSS) in a telecom environment. This role ensures that all IT systems related to billing, CRM, order management, and revenue assurance are optimized for efficiency, security, and scalability. The IT-DBSS Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, streamline operations, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vendors and third-party service providers for system support and enhancements.

• Ensure IT-DBSS systems comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce data protection policies within the DBSS ecosystem.

• Work closely with business units to understand requirements and translate them into IT solutions.

• Develop and implement IT-DBSS strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage the lifecycle of DBSS applications, ensuring they meet business needs.
• Lead the integration of DBSS systems with other IT and network infrastructure.

• Oversee the development, configuration, and customization of DBSS applications, including billing, CRM, mediation, and provisioning systems.
• Ensure seamless integration between BSS and OSS (Operational Support Systems).
• Identify areas for improvement in system efficiency and implement enhancements.

• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

• Collaborate with the other stakeholders to enhance system performance.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure and network teams for seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in IT-DBSS management within the telecom industry.
• Strong experience with BSS platforms.
• Hands-on experience in billing systems, CRM, mediation, and order management.
• Expertise in IT service management (ITSM) and project management frameworks (Agile, ITIL).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of database management, APIs, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of telecom standards (e.g., TM Forum, eTOM, SID).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
