What is Regional Manager – Core Products?
The Regional Manager Core Products drives sales, market share, and profitability within the assigned region by offering high-quality solution consultancy to Enterprise clients, leveraging Jazz’s core products portfolio such as M2M/IoT, GSM and Fixed Connectivity. As a people manager in Direct Sales team, this role reports to the Regional Head and leads a core products sales team comprising of Jazz Business Consultants and responsible for product uptake, customer engagement and revenue growth.
What does Regional Manager – Core Products do?
- Grow the regional customers core products portfolio through new customer acquisition, upsell and cross-sell of Jazz Business core products and solutions.
- Serve as a thought leader and resident expert on product questions, technical integrations, success stories, technology trends and general industry knowledge for the sales team and clients.
- Drive design and end-to-end management of existing and new capabilities like Opportunity Management, customer lifecycle, Channel and Partner Enablement, and Account Management.
- Responsible to provide inputs on revenues targets setting, market potential, customer needs, new products development, modifications to existing products, network expansion, and portfolio management.
- Apply a data-driven approach to analyze the market and determine regional revenue potential and able to derive insight from data and build an actionable strategy based on analysis.
- Drive critical sales opportunities and engagements in the enterprise space, guiding team to propose a solution, workout feasibility, and operational aspect of the proposed solution.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and influence successfully across organizational boundaries.
- Lead the teams to identify, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities while engaging with internal stakeholders (Pre-sales, Marketing, Operations, Service Delivery) to ensure an end-to-end service.
- Actively engage with Senior Management at client organizations to determine the solution need and ways to build strong long-term relationships.
- Ensure that the team is aligned with the vision and remains motivated to fulfil short-term targets, while always ensuring that they exhibit Jazz values and are strong ambassadors.
- Manage important KPIs other than the revenue that will set Jazz apart such as customer service, churn rate, customer retention, new product development, etc.
- Participate in deal qualification calls to assess profitability, pricing, resource requirements, etc. along with other internal teams.
- Participate in market development activities, forums, customer events & conferences to propagate product portfolio and gather market intelligence/ competitors' offerings, etc.
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Regional Head Direct Sales?
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role as people’s manager/leadership team, in a sales or business development team.
- Bachelors/Master's degree.
- Strong hold on the industry dynamics and technology trends, exhibits entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen.
- Prior experience in solution selling and/or engagement with system integrators
- Strong understanding of the technological gap in the market, identify and target the same by leveraging our core product portfolio i.e. M2M/IoT, GSM and Fixed Connectivity.
- Demonstrated sales background in leading various strategic initiatives and has experience in managing large teams.
