What is Expert Channel Performance Management & Insights
The role reports directly to the Stream Head – Channel Commissions, Strategy & Governance and is responsible for driving channel insights, and data-driven decision-making for the consumer business.
What does Expert Channel Performance Management & Insights do?
- Lead channel performance management, ensuring visibility of KPIs, productivity metrics, and trends across all consumer channels
- Manage channel performance projects, including digitization initiatives, new tool deployments, and reporting automation
- Partner with regional teams to communicate targets, performance insights, and corrective recommendations
- Maintain clear and organized documentation for all relevant processes and workflows
- Conduct advanced data analytics, leveraging large datasets to generate insights, projections, and business recommendations
- Build and automate dashboards, reports, and analytical models using MS Excel (advanced), Power BI, MS Access, SQL, and other relevant tools
- Drive performance insights at micro and macro levels, highlighting regional variances, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate data across systems, ensuring availability, integrity, and audit readiness
- Conduct trend analysis, ROI evaluation, and profitability modeling for franchise and retail channels
- Assist in preparing regular and ad-hoc performance reports, management reviews, and business cases
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities, optimizations, and automation potentials
- Develop and implement analytical or predictive models (e.g., churn prediction, GA/recharge forecasting, channel effectiveness scoring) to support strategic objectives
- Support commission calculations (franchise, retailers, DOs, sales staff, business partners), ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely execution
- Collaborate with Finance, BI, Regional Teams, and Channel Planning to optimize commission frameworks and ensure alignment with business strategy
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert Channel Performance Management & Insights?
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, channel performance management, or related analytical roles
- Prior Telco experience is a strong plus
- Computer Science or related technical background is a plus
- Expertise in Advanced MS Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, automation), MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and reporting tools
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python/R, or other analytics tools is preferred
- Good understanding of data analytics concepts and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of working closely with finance, BI, and regional business teams
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing business dynamics
