What is Solution Manager?

The Solution Manager provides holistic technical and business coverage across cloud, cybersecurity, and DevOps domains. This role ensures alignment between customer business objectives and the technical solutions designed for domain-specific customer needs. The Solution Manager acts as the first point of engagement with customers for presales solutioning, ensuring consistent value articulation, solution positioning, and orchestration across domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business goals and technology requirements across cloud, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
• Translate customer requirements into solution concepts, coordinating with domain-specific solution architects for deep dives.
• Own the creation of solution proposals, presentations, and value articulation documents across all domains.
• Provide strategic coverage for opportunities where cross-domain integration is required.
• Conduct high-level solution workshops and demonstrations with enterprise and public-sector clients.
• Collaborate with sales teams on account strategy, opportunity qualification, and pipeline development.
• Ensure solutions align with industry standards, compliance needs, and enterprise-grade architectures.
• Stay updated with market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes in all three domains.

What are we looking for and what does it take to be the Solution Manager? 

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of presales or solution consulting experience in cloud & cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid models, migration strategies).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity domains & frameworks (identity & access management, network security, endpoint security, app security, SIEM/SOC, compliance).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, observability, DevSecOps).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge technical depth with business value articulation.
• Relevant certifications across at least one of the three domains (e.g., AWS/Azure/VMware, CISSP/CISM,ISC2, Kubernetes/DevOps certifications).
