What is Manager Rewards and Policies?
The purpose of the role is to support and contribute to the design, plan and delivery of our Total Rewards programs. The role will manage all employee recognition and wellness modules in line with global best practices to live and reinforce the culture of celebration that Deodar is proud to sustain for all its people. It is expected of the candidate to maintain market competitive data by participating in salary and benefit surveys, evaluating survey effectiveness, and analyzing company compensation against market data. Develop concrete understanding of Deodar’s policy framework and focus on creating, updating, communicating and creating awareness around them in the organization.
What does the Manager Rewards and Policies do?
- Designing pieces of complex compensation programs resulting in significant and long-term changes to the company’s compensation offerings and policies ensuring optimal budget utilization.
- Evolving total rewards in an ultra-competitive talent landscape and enabling to lead with changing workplace dynamics.
- Drives resolution of rewards related queries and independently makes recommendation for optimal solution in complex situations.
- Administer and maintain market pricing tools and the relevant data. Planning and participation of Deodar in market remuneration surveys and be the focal point from Deodar for participation in such surveys.
- Collaborate with internal People & Organization stakeholders and collect feedback for Total Rewards driven initiatives in the organization.
- Continuously review and bring improvements to the Deodar Recognition framework and bring out innovative programs as per global practices.
- Execute and manage the Deodar Wellness Framework as aligned with our values to ensure effective people engagement across the organization while enabling organization in establishing a sustainable holistic wellness regime.
- Brainstorm ideas for up-to-date interventions and well-integrated recognition and wellness frameworks.
- Review people policies quarterly with market intel with the lens of continuous process improvements while ensuring simplified approach.
- Provide enriched, differentiated and rewarding experience for all employees through a targeted rewards strategy.
- Develops sales compensation governance model; updates governance model as and when required in alignment with stakeholders.
- Develops and simplifies policies in coordination with channel planning teams and ensures compliance and controls governance across incentive pay-outs.
- Prepares monthly analytical report for different streams to create visibility at the CXO level.
Requirements
What are we looking for in a Manager Rewards and Policies?
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
- Experience in end-to-end planning and execution of compensation programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of incentive and benefit plans
- Well versed in policy development & communication
- Employee Recognition and Wellness Framework
- Effective articulation skills
- Analytical skills, detail-oriented, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- HR Systems
