What is Specialist Trade Inventory Operations?
The Specialist Trade Inventory Operations is responsible for ensuring end to end process and management of trade/commercial inventory transactions. The role will also work proactively with various internal and external stakeholders to take the lead in the design, development, execution and performance of the trade inventory activities enabling the Jazz to achieve the commercial and business targets at optimized logistics service levels and costs. Furthermore, the role will support the Manager Trade Inventory Operations in defining the overall strategic road map for logistics and for creating and implementing best practices.
The role reports directly to the Manager Trade Inventory Operations and has no people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 12 team members
What Specialist Trade Inventory Operations does?
- Drive and manage the smooth execution of all trade inventory related operations from nationwide warehouses to destination warehouse/franchisees/retailers and to ensure that the defined logistics SOPs & KPI’s are followed diligently by the 3PL partner.
- Ensure meeting the (STR) stock turn-over ratio KPI as defined by management.
- Proactively evaluate the performance and execution of the end-to-end trade inventory activities across different regions with different distribution modes and provide an executive summary to Management where issues, process development or re-engineering is needed.
- Establish continuous improvement process/performance reviews with the 3PL & distribution partner and lead to drive operational efficiency related to warehouse management & distribution in consultation with Commercial & Business teams.
- Set-up and maintain effective communication, collaboration and relationship between commercial & business stake holders, 3PL & distribution partners.
- Ensure awareness of all logistics market developments. Collect market information and share to enable the team to take pro-active actions to minimize/mitigate risk of delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company code of conduct in the responsible cluster.
- Work in partnership with the 3PL and review, translate the trade inventory operations strategy and define a continuous improvement road map in alignment with commercial & business targets.
- Ensure that process requirements and service deliverables are documented in Standard Operating Procedures and/or Service Level Agreements with respective stakeholders and ensure that the agreed processes and service are implemented and executed successfully in the day-to-day operations and within the scope of contractual agreements.
- Keep track of partners payments related to trade inventory warehousing & distribution and make sure to process them as per agreed payment terms.
- Support Manager Trade Inventory Operations in day to day activities related to Trade inventory operations & distribution.
- Analyse data and generate reports for trade inventory performance, distribution activities, and related metrics to support decision-making and to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Business/Finance. Candidates having certification in inventory management & supply chain will be given preference.
- Strong knowledge of 3PL operations, including warehousing, distribution, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with local regulations & law related to warehousing & distribution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and drive performance improvements.
- Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software and BI analytical tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
