What is Product Expert Consumer Platforms?

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of JazzCash’s consumer platforms and projects. You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation to launch — ensuring that our app, USSD, and backend capabilities continue to deliver seamless, engaging, and innovative financial experiences. You will also lead special consumer-focused initiatives, working across teams to enhance customer acquisition, improve engagement, and support the growth of our 75M+ customer base. This position reports to Product Manager - Consumer Platforms.

What does Product Expert Consumer Platforms do?

• Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, with a focus on consumer platforms (mobile app, USSD, core wallet platforms).
• Implement and execute product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business impact, customer needs, and market trends.
• Develop business cases, including projected costs, revenue, and profitability.
• Drive growth-focused consumer projects to increase adoption and usage of JazzCash.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities in fintech, payments, and digital platforms.
• Leverage analytics to monitor product performance, user flows, and engagement metrics, implementing data-driven improvements.
• Use data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Mixpanel, Excel) to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Technology, Design, and cross-functional teams (Marketing, CC, Finance, Compliance) to deliver projects on time and with high quality

• Ensure scalability, security, and seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Lead project implementation, ensuring deliverables are met and risks are mitigated.
• Advocate for exceptional user experience by working with UI/UX teams on intuitive, customer-friendly interfaces.
• Identify and resolve product issues to maintain the overall working of the products.
• Act as the primary point of contact for consumer platform initiatives.
• Communicate plans, updates, and results to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Influence and align diverse stakeholders on product vision and solutions.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Product Expert Consumer Platforms?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years in product management (fintech, digital banking, payments, or consumer platforms).
• Proven track record of launching and scaling successful products on USSD, mobile apps (iOS and Android) and Core Wallet Platforms.
• Direct experience with core wallet platforms is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing fintech consumer products or growth functions.
• Strong understanding of product management, go-to-market, and project management.
• Hands-on with analytics and data-driven problem solving.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance vision and execution.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and rapid experimentation.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Have a user centric approach in order to design exceptional customer user journeys and user experience.
• Should be able to handle conflicts favorably, be collaborative, good at managing stakeholders and use a data-oriented approach to all problem solving and decision-making.
• Good to Have:

Experience or expertise in blockchain/cryptocurrency technologies and their potential integration in digital financial platforms.
