What is “Expert Lease Management“?
The role reports directly to the Head Real Estate will be responsible for lease management of offices.
What does "Expert Lease Management" do?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lease Negotiation & Execution: Lead negotiations for new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of leased properties, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all leases comply with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating potential risks and liabilities.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assess lease costs, budgets, and forecasts while identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization.
- Tenant & Landlord Relations: Maintain strong relationships with property owners, landlords, and tenants to address concerns and ensure smooth lease operations.
- Lease Administration: Maintain accurate records, track critical dates (expirations, renewals, escalations), and ensure timely rent payments.
- Market Research: Monitor market trends, rental rates, and industry developments to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
Key Deliverables:
- Lease Agreements & Renewals: Successfully negotiate and execute lease contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Portfolio Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings, space consolidation, or expansion as per organizational needs.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all lease agreements adhere to legal, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Financial Performance: Provide periodic reports on lease expenditures, liabilities, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Critical Date Management: Maintain a detailed schedule of lease expirations, renewals, and escalations, ensuring proactive decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, legal teams, finance departments, and internal stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence Reports: Deliver insights on industry trends, market rates, and best practices for strategic lease decisions.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Lease Management?
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lease management, commercial real estate, or property administration.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of lease accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16, ASC 842) & Oracle Enterprise is a plus.
- Proficiency in lease management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
