What is Manager Internal Audit?
To provide an independent and objective assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s operations, specifically its internal control structure. Help the organization to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of control activities and control environment.
What does the Manager Internal Audit do?
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the development of the risk based annual audit plan that takes into consideration risk assessment as well as the Board Audit & Risk Committee requirements.
- Make comprehensive plans to carry out individual audits, including determination of audit objectives, identification of major controls & risks and creating the right audit program.
- Design audit procedures to address the risks associated with the process under review in order to express an opinion and make practical recommendations in consensus with the auditee department to improve the process.
- Plan and execute assigned audit engagements, following both the Group Internal Audit Methodology and the standards for the professional practice of Internal Audit established by IIA, to provide assessment of operational performance and internal controls.
- Prepare and review audit report and audit work papers, based on the evidence obtained during the execution of audit and make recommendations, in order to eliminate or reduce the risk embedded in the process.
- Work with the business process owners regarding the scheduled implementation of recommendations, with continuous follow-ups on monthly basis.
- Assist the head of audit in preparation of the BARC package.
- Provide advisory support to the Management.
- Perform special assignments including investigations.
Requirements
What are we looking for in a Manager Internal Audit?
- At least 6 years of previous work experience in similar (audit) roles including experience with Big 4 Audit firms
- Previous work experience in managing inter-functional projects
- Telecom industry experience is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local (business) language(s)
- Internal Audit related certification is a must (ACA, CIA, CMA, CPA, ACCA).
- IT Audit qualification (CISA) is desirable
