What is Expert Product Experience & Design?

As an integral part of the JazzCash Product Experience & Design team, you’ll participate in every aspect of the customer experience — with a strong focus on user research and interface design. You’ll be a fearless advocate for our users, pushing every feature and interaction to be as impactful as possible. You’ll work closely with the Manager Product Experience & Design and the product teams to concept, test and design experiences that convert and grow our business and make life easy for our millions of users.

The role reports directly to the Manager Product Experience & Design.

What does Expert Product Experience & Design do?

• Participate in the overall strategy and roadmap of the design team
• Help set the design strategy and direction of JazzCash platforms
• Collaborate with the product team to help develop sprint plans and design priorities
• Conduct user research, interviews and testing to inform design decisions
• Work with designers and product managers to ensure design solutions are aligned with our sprint and/or long-term strategic goals
• Ensure the overall quality of the design solutions the team works on
• Partner with technology teams to ensure the overall quality of what we ship to users
• Continuously improve and evolve JazzCash’s research & design methodologies
• Help manage and mentor our team of designers

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert Product Experience & Design?

• Minimum qualification - Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant degree
• Outstanding portfolio of prior work that demonstrates strong UX design capabilities
• 6+ years of professional experience as a product designer working in fintech industry
• Exceptional craft and executional design skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience managing and mentoring other designers
• Deep understanding of UX strategy and product design methodologies
• Ability to translate problem statement and user insights into design solutions
• Experience working in agile and lean environments
• Strong command of design & prototyping software: Figma, After Effects, Miro etc
