What is Expert Digital & MFS Assurance?

Expert Digital & MFS Assurance will be part of Business Assurance team in Finance Division and will responsible for activities like Assurance, Data Analytics, Data Management, Controls Development, Process Automation, Subscription and Technical Fraud Analysis and Mobile Financial Services Assurance through Business Assurance systems and providing regular visibility of performance to the management at Jazz.

The role reports directly to the Stream Head Digital & MFS Assurance with an extended team of 3 team members.

What does Expert Expert Digital & MFS Assurance Do?

• Writing optimized SQL queries for Ad-hoc analysis and for automation purposes.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
• Experience in visualizing/reporting tools (like MSBI (SSIS, SSRS), Power BI etc).
• Responsible for development of Business Assurance dashboards and fraud alerts.
• Automation of manual activities through scripting (Python, .Net, C# etc)
• Monitoring & implementation of Business Assurance detective & preventive controls.
• Understanding of Business Assurance platforms, & setup of rules with respect to transaction trends and/or patterns to detect possibility of DFS fraud using relevant risk platforms.
• Assess risks of fraud in line with the customer base and the business model.
• Perform and run different reconciliations and reports, assess and analyze trends and activities related to Jazz Cash.
• Fraud investigations and root cause analyses.
• Help improve the policies and procedures to mitigate the risk of fraud & revenue leakage.
• Working with different departments to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies
• Understanding of payment gateways and ability to interpret and analyze complex transaction and identify patterns, trends, and make decisions on fraud risk strategies.
• New Products and Services Risk Assessment.
• Pre and Post launch testing/Verification through automation.
• Review of existing/new processes to ensure implementation of Preventive Controls.
• Data reconciliations and validations between different sources.
• Documentation of MFS controls, threats & risks.

• Process data (aggregate, sanitise etc) into formats suitable for analysis.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Digital & MFS Assurance?

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree from an HEC recognized institution (Preferably IT and Business mix).
• At least 2 years plus experience in any of these domain internet / data related products, GSM based solution, DFS Solution (M wallets), Software development, data analytics.
• Should have knowledge of automation, databases, reporting, internal/external system integrations, system workflows, business flows, requirement gathering, project management.
• Complete insight knowledge of MFS platform, Transactions flows & Charging Systems and the revenue assurance domain would be preferred.
• The individual should be able Design and Implement Prevention Framework in BA and suggest improvements wherever needed.
• Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing SQL to handle extremely large datasets
• Inquisitive technical and business skills to understand, test, or challenge the status quo while working harmoniously with the business and technology owners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and advanced ability to communicate complex technology solutions to gain alignment, and drive progress
• Presentation and written communication skills are essential: clear, organized, concise with an ability to adapt to appropriate audience
