What is MBU Lead:
Micro Business Unit (MBU) Lead is a telecom professional who looks after Access Network Operations of Cell Sites of particular cluster/ business unit in line with business goals and company strategy and assist the Zonal Manager on assigned Regional Projects.
Main tasks include Customer Complaints handling (Corporate & Commercial), Vendor Performance Management for Access Network Operations and all KPI targets achievements against the assigned MBU including TCH,DCR, CSSR, Fuel and Network Availability.
The role reports directly to the Zonal Manager, Technology Operations, Central-3.
What does MBU Lead do?
- E2E KPIs (NAR, DCR, CSSR, Fuel) of assigned MBU must be achieved above 99% throughout the year with good QoS.
- Ensure maximum availability of sites within the MBU jurisdiction ; specifically B2S ; OMO ; Micro and Jazz Telco end.
- PM/CM management and ensure strict check and audit to ensure that process is run smoothly as per SOPs and there are no slippages.
- Strong follow up with vendor to resolve all BSS and TXN issues as per SLA.
- Spot audits and strict checks on vendors in terms of human/material resources within MBUs and SOPs compliance.
- Vendors/ Business partners ( B2S ; Deodar ; OMO ; FOO ) coordination ; KPI achievement and penalties management.
- Ensure to support rollout and planning teams for new/strategic projects and sites, in term of ATPs and access for new roll out sites.
- Resolution of Sales & Corporate complaints of assigned MBU within 24hrs.
- Maintain customer complaint SLA above 95% and resolve within 24hrs.
- Sales team to be facilitated on all technical issues, strong coordination with sales team so every complain should be resolved within time to achieve mutual targets.
- Deep dive on outages and devising SOPs/improvement plans based on trend analysis.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be MBU Lead?
- BSc. Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom.
- 4-7 years of work experience in the field of Managed Services, Access Network Operations in the Telecommunication industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Mobile telecommunication including GSM, 3G, LTE Architecture and telecommunication processes with in-depth understanding of Managed Services.
- Expertise in BSS and TXN Operations on BTS Cell Sites. 2G,3G,4G BTS / MW hardware configurations, troubleshooting and installations.
- Experience of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of telco and non-telco equipment, management and execution.
- Basic knowledge of RF Optimization including TCH, DCR, CSSR & Network availability.
- Customer centric approach to identify and fix network issues.
- Flexibility of working hours in case of operational emergencies.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Experienced in small to medium level tam management
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic hard worker and out of box thinker.
