We are looking for a person with strong background in PS Core Planning including Cloud NFVI, Data Center infrastructure, Data center design, network planning, network Integration, expertize with IP Core middle level knowledge i.e. Layer-2, Layer-3 & Firewalling concepts for 4G EPC. This is an internal organizational customers facing role and the individual will have relationship building responsibility in one of Jazz network most important team with strategic growth areas.

The role reports directly to the Manager PS Core Planning & Operations with an extended team of 12 team members.

What is Expert, PS Core Planning?

Major tasks include day to day planning of NFVI PS Core Network, evaluation of business requirement (corporate & commercial), configuration management, testing & troubleshooting of new integration before they go live, interaction with Internal and external stakeholder and vendor support teams for ongoing issues, project and upgrades.

Role and Responsibilities

• Solution design and planning of requirement as per commercial & market-place to offer digital services, mobile service application, data services
• Prepare planning task configuration/scripting and verification.
• Prepare SOP documentation with testing procedure for each type of service integration
• SLA finalization to perform each type of task/activity/plan requested by marketing and commercial teams
• PS Core capacities and licenses monitoring
• Quarterly Network Audits (hardware, software & Configurations)
• Service flows/documentation of each service & Internal processes definition and improvement
• Monitor Network KPI's based and reporting.
• Interdepartmental coordination (planning & operation teams, marketing, commercial, finance)

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert, PS Core Planning?

• Bachelor degree in Telecom/Electrical/Software Engineering
• 4-8 years of relevant experience including NFVI Core Network and Packet Core Service flow
• Experience in Core Network Optimization and Network parameter standardization
• Expertise on planning & design as well and configuration preparation skills for Huawei Cloud NFVI PS Core service Nodes.
• Deep Understanding of 2G/3G/4G Network Architecture & Flows with excellent knowledge of Open stack, NFVI and 5G Core Network.
• Detailed Understanding of PS Core Nodes (SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, DNS, PCRF, BG, Firewall, CE switches, Routers, DEA & DRA)
• Detailed understanding of NFVI Core networks, Cloud infrastructure, Cloud Data Center design
• Experience in EPC Core Solution architecture, Network modelling and topology.
• Project & Vendor Management Skill to handle the network expansion with new integrations projects
• Relevant experience of NFVI, VNFM, NFVO, VIM planning, Design and deployment
• Sound knowledge in Service Awareness and Deep Packet Inspection.
• Excellent communication & leadership skills
• Good team player and strong stakeholder management skills.
