The Head of Business Support is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the business support functions within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team leadership to ensure that all administrative and support services align with the company's overall goals. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, leading projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering innovation. The Head of Business Support works closely with various departments to meet their needs effectively, continuously seeking improvements in processes and services to enhance productivity and organizational effectiveness.

 

The role reports directly to the Head of Indirect Sales Channel.

Requirements

What does Head of Business Support do?

·       Develop and implement business support strategies aligned with overall company goals.

·       Identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency.

·       Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize processes.

·       Lead, mentor, and manage the business support team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

·       Monitor customer support metrics and KPIs, addressing any issues promptly to ensure high service standards.

·       Monthly Sales Targets setting to achieve the overall yearly Sales Target of Channel

·       Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and Channel Planning teams to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.

·       Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to enhance overall business performance.

·       Prepare regular reports on business Achievements, performance, and outcomes.

·       Conduct analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

·       Identify potential risks within business support functions and develop mitigation strategies.

·       Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

·        Communicating regions strategy and performance to leadership and other stakeholders.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be *role title*?

•        Holds a Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Business administration (MBA).

•        Strategic Planning, Reporting and Data Analysis skills

•        Excellent communication and Presentation skills.

•        Minimum of 05 - 07 years of experience in a similar role within the telecom sector.

•        Extensive experience in business support or operations management, preferably within the telecom sector.
