What is Expert Enterprise Service Management Projects?
Expert Enterprise Service Management Projects is responsible to lead the in-house development of applications & utilities to support fast changing emerging business needs of organization. In addition, the role also supports several automation initiatives to efficiency to operational processes.
The role reports directly to the Manager NOC Automation Support with an extended team of 6 team members.
What does Expert Enterprise Service Management Projects?
- Handle day to day operations and lead the activities for Service Desk & other in house platforms
- Lead projects related to Development & Customization of Software Solutions to meet business needs particularly pertaining ITSM and IT Asset Management Platforms.
- Device strategy to oversee smooth operations & transformation of Service Desk Platforms in use across organization.
- Provide Techno functional support for smooth running of Service Desk Platforms.
- Work on proposals / strategies to improve cost efficiencies.
- Tactical Planning & Execution to ensure risk mitigation and sustainability of NOC Platforms.
- Keep close contact with Supplier / Partner Teams to ensure smooth operations of NOC Platforms.
- Liaise with Sourcing / Procurement teams to ensure timely delivery enabling NOC to meet strategic & transformational objectives.
- Ensure continuous exploration & discovery of emerging technologies / platforms for potential adoption enabling cutting edge deployments & modernization for NOC.
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
- Prepare technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

Requirements
Skills Required
- Hands on Experience of Cloud based & On Prem ITSM, ITAM & Digital Workflow platforms like ServiceNow, Atlassian.
- Understanding of the SDLC process and experience of leading Software Development projects.
- In depth understanding of REST / SOAP APIs and creation of APIs.
- Experienced with gathering end user requirements for Digitization requests.
- Good understanding of ITIL Processes & Related industry standards.
- Contribute to Project documentation and user guides.
Educational & other Requirements
- At least BS (Computer Science, Software Engineering), BE (Electronics, Electrical, Telecoms).
- Learning Aptitude.
- Problem Solver.
- Team Player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of mobile development (e.g., Android, iOS).
