What is Executive Internal Audit?
Manage and perform IT & Cyber Security audits reviews independently with minimum supervision at Engro Corp. and across Engro subsidiaries.
What does Executive Internal Audit do?
- Assist GM IT Audit in IS/IT and cyber security-related risk assessment during the annual audit planning and actively participate in the development of the overall audit plan, especially IT/IS component.
- Assist GM IT Audit in audits planning and manage the execution of approved assigned audits as per the annual audit plan, within established budgets/ timelines, maintaining quality in work and documentation.
- Develop comprehensive audit programs while gaining adequate understanding of the technological assets & respective processes / operations, maintain detailed audit work papers, and document audit reports for discussion and finalization with Management.
- Through regular reviews and continuous oversight, ensure effectiveness of the IT controls, Security and Governance at Engro Corp and its subsidiaries.
- Assist GM IT Audit in finalizing the audit report and presenting it to Executive Management and respective BARCs.
- Perform frequent follow up of open audit observations / recommendations.
- Assist GM IT Audit in development of BARC package related to IT Audit function for every quarter. Also, assist subsidiary audit team in development of their package related to IT audits.
- Provide advisory support to Management on new developments / projects / policies etc.
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Executive Internal Audit?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Telecoms, or Computer Systems Engineering.
- Understanding or experience of Telecom would be a plus.
- CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
- Knowledge of concepts related to information systems audit, including security and control risks.
- Knowledge of control environment, control design and internal controls.
- Knowledge of system architecture and information technology infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of ERP and current technologies and platforms (knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus).
- Knowledge of international standards, frameworks and best practices pertaining to IT audit, information security, cloud computing and related areas).
- Knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
