What is Bids and Proposal Expert?

The Bids & Proposal Management team is part of the Bids, Solutions & Service Delivery team within the BSD Division. The team is responsible for preparing winning proposals for Jazz B2B GSM/ Fixed/ enterprise products and facilitating the sales team to timely respond to sale opportunities related to bids and fixed segment from existing and new customers.

The role reports directly to the Manager Bids & Proposals, and has 1 person reporting directly into it with an extended team of 5 team members

What does Fixed and Proposal Expert?

Key responsibilities

• Timely submission of bids and tenders.
• Work as a project manager to engage all stake holders to compile necessary information & documents required for bid submission.
• Timely submission of fixed segment pricing proposals.
• Support sales channels for timely closure of business opportunities by supporting all commercial related queries.
• Understanding of pricing dynamics, discounting mechanics for Fixed, GSM and ES products with regards to Proposal making for B2B segments and customer

We are looking for someone who has delivered in a fast-paced challenging environment with the ability to work well under pressure of strict deadlines. You should have the confidence to defend your pricing decisions and negotiate (if required) with the sales channel. Prior experience of 5 years in Fixed pricing or similar fields will be an added advantage.

The candidate will work closely with Sales, Proposal Management and Customer engagement to develop bids/fixed proposals and improve knowledge of cost and price components as well as product knowledge to execute responsibilities.

Key Deliverables

• Thorough understanding and product knowledge of B2B Fixed/GSM and enterprise Products.
• Business acumen and understanding of pricing principles, discounting & proposal making.

Experience and Educational requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of fixed segment and a thorough understanding of Bids and Business Case preparation.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience.
