What is Expert Digital Platforms?

Expert Digital Platforms is a full stack development role responsible for designing, building, scaling, and deploying digital solutions across Jazz's internal platforms and enterprise systems. The role drives the development of internal portals, automated workflows, and digital tools that power Jazz's transformation agenda. Platforms include but are not limited to ServiceNow, custom web applications, and other enterprise digital systems. The role demands a strong full stack engineering mindset, the ability to write production-grade code across the entire technology stack, and proven experience delivering solutions at enterprise scale.

The role reports directly to the Stream Head, Digital Transformation (L3) and is an individual contributor position based in Islamabad.

 

What does Expert Digital Platforms do?

·        Design, develop, and deploy full stack web applications and internal portals supporting Jazz's digital operations, using modern frontend and backend technologies.

·        Build and maintain automated workflows across enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, custom applications, and other digital systems adopted by the organisation.

·        Develop responsive and scalable frontend interfaces using React.js or Vue.js, with a strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

·        Build robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Java Spring Boot to support internal platform integrations.

·        Design and manage databases including relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

·        Own the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and solution design through to coding, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

·        Ensure solutions are engineered for scale, performance, and maintainability across enterprise-level user volumes.

·        Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments across dev, test, and production environments using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent.

·        Integrate internal platforms with third-party enterprise systems such as ERP, HRMS, and CRM via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.

·        Identify and automate manual, repetitive internal processes to maximise operational efficiency across the organisation.

·        Collaborate with the Stream Head and business stakeholders to translate transformation roadmap items into scalable technical solutions.

·        Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

·        Support data reporting and dashboard development to provide operational visibility to business teams.

·        Continually evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and platform capabilities to accelerate Jazz's digitisation goals.

Requirements

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

·        3 to 4 years of industry experience in full stack software development, with demonstrated experience in development, scaling, and deployment of production-grade applications.

·        Proven experience building and maintaining internal portals, web applications, or enterprise workflow solutions.

·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

·        Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

·        ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are an advantage but not mandatory.
