What is Head of Brands & Communications?

Head of Brands & Communication will drive strategic brand positioning with end-to-end execution of brand and communication strategies, to strengthen brand equity and drive business growth across various strategic business verticals with a sharp focus on supporting the company’s digital transformation and revenue streams.

The role will be responsible to optimize performance marketing outcomes, deliver on high-performance digital marketing initiatives, driving high value media buying initiatives and impactful customer experiences through integrated and experiential marketing.

The role has 3-4 direct reports with an extended team of 15+ team members.

 

What does Head of Brands & Communications do?

Brand Strategy & Management

·        Develop and implement a holistic brand strategy for various strategic business verticals in alignment with corporate vision, growth ambitions, and digital priorities

·        Strengthen brand positioning across all customer segments and products & platforms through consistent messaging and impactful campaigns.

·        Define and maintain clear brand architecture for all products, services, and digital verticals.

·        Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to refine brand strategies and ensure strong, consistent brand identity and messaging across all channels, verticals and customer touchpoints.

Integrated Communication & Performance Marketing

·        Lead the design and execution of integrated marketing communication plans.

·        Oversee content strategy, creative development, and campaign execution for maximum reach and impact.

·        Drive digital-first communication strategies to reach evolving consumer segments and increase digital adoption.

·        Monitor market trends and customer insights and oversee content strategy, creative development, and campaign execution for maximum reach and impact.

·        Own performance marketing strategy to drive measurable customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.

·        Govern & lead the digital media investments across paid channels (search, display, social, affiliates) to deliver measurable ROI through data-driven targeting, A/B testing, continuous optimization of digital campaigns.

Experiential & Customer Engagement Marketing

·        Plan and execute experiential marketing programs, events, and sponsorships that build strong connections with customers.

·        Integrate on-ground activations and brand experiences that amplify brand purpose and drive engagement.

·        Integrate experiential touchpoints with digital campaigns for 360° impact.

·        Deliver innovative experiential concepts that reinforce the brand’s purpose and market leadership.

Digital Business Marketing

·        Partner with digital product and growth teams to design go-to-market strategies for digital products and services and scale digital revenue streams.

·        Create and execute customer acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns for digital channels.

·        Run customer lifecycle campaigns for digital platforms, apps, and self-service channels.

·        Support e-commerce, self-care, apps, and other digital platforms with tailored marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

·        Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of brand, communication, and digital marketers supporting various strategic business units.

·        Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (product, digital, CX, commercial) to align marketing with business goals.

·        Manage external agency relationships and ensure efficient budget utilization.
