What is Specialist Product Experience?

Specialist Product Experience will be responsible for UX research and measurement, usability studies and driving the culture of UX within the organization. This role will support the design and products teams in terms of completing the feedback loop and bringing continuous improvements in the customer experience.

The role reports directly to the Manager Product Experience & Design and will work with Product, Research, Technology, Design and Experience teams.

What does Specialist Product Experience do?

• UX strategy, research and customer journey mapping for DFS products
• Define and execute research methods appropriate to the business needs and challenges, including but not limited to field research, surveys, lab studies, remote testing, online experiments, and A/B tests
• Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
• Leverage gathered data points to perform quick and thorough analysis leading to focused, insightful, and actionable findings
• Align UX roadmap and frameworks with business strategy and goals.
• Provide thought leadership to product teams and the broader organization; in this process you are expected to educate the organization on identified opportunities, insights and best practices and inspire your stakeholders and decision makers to act accordingly to delight customers and differentiate our products
• Defining the user experience, journeys and interface for existing and new digital platforms
• Developing & refining information architecture for upcoming features and use-cases
• Developing wireframes and designs
• Share your findings and frameworks with diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
• Work with Developers, Products teams, Technology and Product Development teams to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

You should be passionate about user-centricity, product design and development, customer insights and their journeys. UX researcher and understanding users and their pain points. Someone who is always looking for innovative solutions and thrives to deliver delightful customer experiences. Curious about global best practices and have a proven record of implementing UX strategy in the form of a product or service.

The skills we are looking for in the candidate:

• Minimum BBA or BS (Computer Science) degree
• Interviewing and user testing skills with an experience in facilitating design & UX workshops
• Deep understanding of UX practices and methodologies
• Understanding of design thinking practices
• Passion for UX research and design. This role also requires you to continuously keep track of latest learnings and innovations in behavioral science, research methods and UX design, to apply in your work
• Deep understanding of the design process and how research is integrated at each phase of product development cycle
• Decision making & problem solving
• Stakeholder management
• Command over user journey mapping tools, prototyping tools, knowledge of Sketch, Invision, Figma, Adobe XD and similar design tools
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
