What is Expert Analytics & Insights?
This role will lead JazzCash analytics & insight projects focusing on establishing a new dedicated DWH platform, ETL platform, reporting platform and migrating existing processes onto these new platforms. Plan and oversee all aspects of JazzCash projects, and to meet the project's goals on time and within budget.
Lead all data sourcing requirements for new JazzCash projects. Lead for all JazzCash reporting and analytics requirement. Collect reporting and analytics requirement from all business & technical teams for the long-term and forecast future workload.
A two-member team including yourself will be reporting directly to the Manager Analytics & Insights. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.
What does Expert Analytics & Insights do?
- Lead JazzCash analytics & insight projects which focus on establishing a new dedicated platform
- Work with Jazz to ensure complete data segregation as well as segregation of duty
- Work on JazzCash data governance policy, review all regulatory constraints, protecting customer data, build controls to secure critical JazzCash data and do periodic data audit
- Lead for all data sourcing requirements for new JazzCash projects
- Lead for all reporting and analytics requirement for JazzCash
- Manage periodic service review with vendor & service providers
- Work on SLAs and agree on key KPIs with external service providers
- Coordination with cross-functional teams to facilitate delivery of reports in accordance with the agreed scope
- Extensive familiarity with data management principles and best practices in order to properly store, migrate, and structure data for multiple applications
- Database programming, write complex operations, scripts, and triggers to support database access and frequently need to address software bugs
- Expert in writing DML SQL queries to store, sort, retrieve data and writing stored procedures, indexes & triggers
- Conduct monthly forums with internal & external stakeholders and discuss the performance & improvement areas
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it take to be Expert Analytics & Insights?
- BS/MS in Computer Sciences or Data Sciences
- 5-6 years of experience in fintech or telecom industry
- Experience and demonstrated competency in managing resources, tasks, contracts, scope, and budgets for projects in the context of large, enterprise-wide technology initiatives
- Experience in solving complex business problems using data science, statistical techniques & machine learning to build predictive & prescriptive solutions across the customer journey
- Should have knowledge about, how to build and maintain database systems, be fluent in programming languages such as SQL & Shell, be adept at finding warehousing solutions, and using ETL tools
- Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders, influencing strategic priorities
- Sound stakeholder management; able to build strong credible partnerships
- Creative problem solver who goes beyond the obvious to find unconventional ways, enabling business and people
