The Head of FTTx Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, operations, and performance for Fiber-to-the-X (FTTx) solutions within the company. This individual will be tasked with growing the customer base, driving revenue, and building strategic relationships with both existing and potential clients. The Head of FTTx Sales will manage a team of sales professionals, align sales efforts with business goals, and ensure the successful implementation and delivery of FTTx products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Sales Strategy:
    • Define and execute the overall sales strategy for FTTx solutions (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC, etc.) to meet company revenue targets.
    • Identify and explore new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments for FTTx services.
    • Work closely with senior leadership to align FTTx sales goals with company objectives and market positioning.
  2. Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on FTTx products and services.
    • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure success.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-energy environment that encourages results and customer satisfaction.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term customer retention.
    • Engage in high-level discussions with potential customers, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions.
    • Serve as the escalation point for complex or strategic customer issues to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
  4. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges in the FTTx sector.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on how to enhance market positioning and sales tactics.
    • Stay updated on technological advancements, industry changes, and regulatory requirements related to FTTx.
  5. Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Develop and deliver regular reports to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline development, and market trends.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, KPIs, and progress against revenue goals.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of sales and delivery efforts.
  6. Sales Enablement & Process Improvement:
    • Oversee the creation of sales tools, training materials, and resources that enable the team to sell FTTx solutions effectively.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Work closely with the marketing department to create impactful campaigns and promotional materials that drive sales.
  7. Collaboration Across Teams:
    • Partner with product, operations, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Provide feedback on product development based on customer feedback and market demand.
    • Collaborate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience post-sale.
