What is Regional Head, Indirect Sales Channel?
The Regional Head of Indirect Sales Channel is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies through indirect channels within the assigned region. This role will manage relationships with channel partners, drive sales growth and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
The role reports directly to the head of Indirect Sales Channel.
What does Regional Head, Indirect Sales Channel do?
Strategy Development and Implementation
- Develop and maintain Channel Partners Echo System.
- Lead, mentor and enable Channel Partners to be ready for Go to Market.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets through indirect sales channels.
- Achieve monthly New Sales/Revenue targets by promoting various products such as B2B products within the region through channel partners.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support channel partners with appropriate resources and campaigns
Channel Partner Management
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring their alignment with company goals.
- Provide training and support to channel partners to enhance their selling capabilities.
Performance Management
- Set sales targets and monitor performance of channel partners against these targets.
- Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate channel partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to channel partners.
Financial Management
- Manage the regional budget for indirect sales activities.
- Monitor and report on sales forecasts and financial performance.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with the company's financial policies and procedures.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of indirect sales managers and representatives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within the region.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by channel partners or end customers.
- Gather feedback from the market to inform product development and improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in channel sales management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through indirect channels.
- Strong understanding of the regional market and industry dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region.
