What is Expert ESG?
We are seeking an ambitious individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills to help us highlight Jazz's Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives on external platforms. The ideal candidate has a "make it happen" attitude, exceptional organizational and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic. This role requires someone who is highly organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to changing project priorities. The candidate should be well-versed in ESG global practices, standards, and protocols, and have a hands-on approach with a commitment to practical solutions. This position reports directly to the Manager of Environment & Climate Change, with no direct reports but an extended team of two members.
What Expert ESG does?
Key responsibilities:
The ESG Officer will be responsible for:
- A research-oriented approach
- Providing support to the ESG Manager
- Introducing/working on carbon offset and reduction programs
- Facilitating networking among industry and cross-industry peers (public and private organizations, development sector, NGOs, research institutes, academia, customers, suppliers, local communities, etc.) for knowledge sharing on ESG initiatives, decarbonization, and circular economy strategies
- Involvement in the preparation of materials and, at times, presenting at various speaking platforms
- Conducting interviews, and hosting panel discussions, workshops, and conferences
- Helping in scaling the Jazz ESG initiatives with speed and magnitude
- Showcasing Jazz achievements, promoting, and building linkages for the Jazz ESG team at important platforms
- Creating, managing, and delivering materials, including project workplans, timelines, etc.
Key Deliverables:
The key deliverables for this role are:
- Preparing summaries of the latest ESG reports related to the telecom industry
- Collecting data for the Net Zero program and ESG reporting by coordinating with relevant departments
- Organizing ESG events at both company and external levels
- Keeping a record of best practices and changes/updates in ESG frameworks
- Facilitating the development of ESG-related policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Developing reports and presenting task progress and results to management and other interested parties
- Reviewing and accurately entering information regarding records of engagement or other communications
- Writing summaries of individual engagement activities and project engagement programs, and sharing them with corporate communication teams (internal and external) for publication
- Producing standard and ad hoc reports about engagement activities, concerns, commitments, and outstanding actions for the company, regulators, and others

Requirements
Experience and Educational requirements:
- 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution (preferably from an ESG-related program) or equivalent from a foreign university/college
- ESG-related experience with government and private sectors
- Familiarity with environment-related ISO standards
- Experience working on ESG programs in the development sector (preferably UN, GIZ, WWF)
- Experience in hosting and organizing workshops, conferences, focus group discussions, etc.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups on ESG goals
Soft skills and technical skills required:
- Fluency in English, with exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills, along with the ability to successfully interact with stakeholders across organizational and hierarchy lines
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and very good knowledge of MS Office in general
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting initiatives, and global best practices
- Very good analytical skills and excellent project management skills
- Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
