What does Associate, Employment and Governance do?

We are seeking a skilled, collaborative, and passionate Associate, Employment, Equity & Governance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, exceptional communication skills, and, most importantly, the ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple functions and geographies in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the HR team in managing and maintaining the governance for various Committees.

· Prepare, review, and provide guidance on employment contracts, settlements, and related documentation.

· Draft and review equity and cash incentive awards and their associated settlement agreements.

· Prepare employee communications regarding key employment matters.

· Assist in formulation of strategies for integration of contracts and policies during mergers and acquisitions.

· Provide support in settlement negotiations and litigation strategies as needed.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• · LLB / LLM
• · Exceptional English writing and presentation skills.
• · Proficiency in contract management and legal document preparation.
• · Prior exposure to M&A and investment banking is preferred.
• · Adept knowledge of the latest technology tools and platforms.
• · 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
