What is UI/UX Design Specialist?
You will be working in an agile and collaborative setup with teams such as CX, Product, Marketing, BI, and Digital to create digital experiences that customers truly love. This role reports directly to the Manager – Design & Usability and is supported by a strong team of three passionate members. You will be responsible for conducting user interviews , interface design, field visits, surveys, journey mapping, usability study, and expert reviews to ensure our products are intuitive, inclusive, and user-friendly.
What does UI/UX Design Specialist do?
- Design user interfaces for apps, websites, and internal systems (end-to-end).
- Analyze user data, conduct usability studies, and turn insights into actionable UI/UX improvements.
- Conduct expert reviews and heuristic evaluations.
- Map user journeys and identify user pain points.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard tools.
- Plan and execute usability sessions.
- Prepare and present design recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct user interviews , Focus Groups and field visits to collect real user feedback.
- Create and analyze surveys and questionnaires.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and marketing teams to enhance user experience.
- Document findings and ensure that design decisions are based on data.
- Stay updated with the latest design techniques and web layout trends.
- Translate concepts into user flows, journey maps, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
What are we looking for and what does it require to be UI/UX Specialist
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Design, Computer Science, Industrial design or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design & user research.
- Strong skills in tools like Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, Sketch,AI tools etc.
- Good command over Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of usability principles and design systems.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder handling abilities.
- Comfortable with on-ground visits and direct interaction with users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
