What is Stream Head People Analytics & Planning?
The role leads the development and execution of data-driven workforce strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. They drive advanced people analytics, predictive modeling, and workforce planning to optimize talent decisions. The role bridges HR, technology, and business to deliver actionable insights for organizational growth.
The role reports directly to the Head of HR Business Partnership & Analytics with a team of 3 members reporting into this role.
What does Stream Head People Analytics & Planning do?
- Define and lead the people analytics strategy aligned with business and HR priorities.
- Partner with leadership to translate people data into actionable workforce strategies.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the HR function.
- Lead enterprise-level workforce planning initiatives, aligning talent supply with current and future business needs.
- Conduct scenario-based workforce modeling to support organizational transformation and growth.
- Integrate people planning into annual and long-term business and financial planning processes.
- Deliver predictive analytics on key HR themes (e.g., attrition, skills gaps, engagement, diversity).
- Lead the integration of AI and machine learning solutions into HR processes, such as predictive hiring, skill development pathways, and personalized employee experiences.
- Explore and pilot emerging AI technologies to unlock deeper insights into workforce dynamics and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal tech and data teams to develop and operationalize AI-driven tools for HR.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent, Finance, and Strategy teams.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling business stories.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across all HR analytics systems and platforms.
- Lead the deployment and optimization of analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday Analytics, etc.
- Define and maintain standards for HR metrics, reporting, and dashboards.
- Build and lead a team of people analytics specialists.
- Develop data literacy programs for HR and leadership stakeholders to interpret and utilize analytics effectively.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the analytics function.

- Expertise in data analytics, workforce planning, and strategic HR.
- Strong understanding of predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning applications in HR.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R/Python preferred).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and governance in people data.
