What is MBU Lead:
MBU Lead is a Field resource who looks after Access Network Operations of Cell Sites of particular cluster/ business unit in line with business goals and company strategy and ensure to achieve assigned MBU targets.
Main tasks include Network Uptime, SLA compliance, Vendor Performance Management for cell site’s operations and all KPI targets achievements against the assigned MBU including PM execution, Fuel management, TCH, and Network Availability.
The role reports directly to the Zonal Manager, Technology Operations, and it also includes the serving/coordination for all other mobile operators in the same area of responsibility.
What does MBU Lead do?
- Maintain DC-Power Availability above set target values, every month.
- PM/CM management and ensure strict check and audit.
- Strong follow up with vendor to resolve all issues as per SLA.
- Strict checks on vendors in terms of human/material resources within MBUs and SOPs compliance.
- Vendor resources competence gap analysis and to take timely actions to address shortcomings.
- Maintain customer complaint SLA above 95% and resolve within 24hrs.
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be MBU Lead?
- BSc. Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom/ computer science with 2 to 4 Years of Relevant experience.
- B Tech with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in telecommunications field operations.
- Expertise in Power infrastructure on BTS Cell Sites, both AC & DC, Rectifiers and RMS troubleshooting.
- Experience of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of non-telco equipment.
- Customer Centric approach to identify and fix network issues.
- Flexibility of working hours in case of operational emergencies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experienced in small to medium level team management
- Good reporting skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard worker and out of box thinker.
