What is Expert Regulatory Affairs?
An Expert Regulatory Affairs is expected to assist in Managing Jazz Regulatory Affairs function in line with PTA Regulations/SOPs and VEON guidelines. The incumbent should be able to assist line manager in all regulatory compliance issues pertaining to mobile and fixed line business of PMCL, LINKdotNET Telecom and LINKdotNET Pakistan.
The role reports directly to the Manager Regulatory Affairs with an extended team of 4 team members.
What Expert Regulatory Affairs does?
- Handling of any operational/regulatory requirements and projects, as assigned by line manager.
- Able to Manage repository for all important correspondence/records regarding PMCL, LDNT and other licenses with regards to PTA, FAB, MoIT, PTCL, ISI, IB, USFCo, NAB, Ministry of Interior and all Government organizations.
- Prepare periodic reports for management consumption.
- Ensure fulfilment of all Licensing Obligations.
- Rollout and QoS obligations and its compliance.
- Getting SIM sale procedures improve and submit compliance to PTA.
- Timely submission of all reporting requirements as per the formats given by PTA.
- Swiftly handle all regulatory matters related to sale and Customers’ documentation.
- Ensure timely payment of all Annual Regulatory Dues.
- Ensure timely blocking/ restoration of MSISDN as per PTA instructions.
- Ensure implementation of network requirements shared by PTA.
- Coordinate with internal technology teams for network QoS new rollouts and complaints raised by PTA enforcement division.
- Reporting and making necessary payments to regulatory bodies timely as per license conditions and obligation.
- Interact with BISP on handling of complaints pertaining fraudulent activities received from BISP HQ.
- Work on optimization and improvement of internal processes.
- Improve coordination with customer services, Legal and technology team for matters related to complaints, interference, periodic quality of services surveys.

Requirements
- Experience of at least 5 years in Telecom industry and graduated from reputable university from within or outside Pakistan.
- Knowledge of telecom networks.
- Well versed with PTA Regulations and SOPs.
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Team player
- Proactive & self-driven
- Possess good negotiation skills
