What is Manager Financial Transformation?

Deodar is looking for self-driven individuals who want to be part of the Financial Transformation team. You need to be passionate and aware of the technology space and have prior experience of working on Oracle/SAP ERP and business process automation platforms (Workflow automations, RPA). Hands on with business analysis, program/project management, product management, and data analytics. You need to have strong interpersonal skills as you will be collaborating/engaging with multiple teams and be willing to adapt according to the evolving digital landscapes.

What does Manager Finance Transformation do?

• Lead the end-to-end management of SAP transformation projects, including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Partner with functional teams, business units, and leadership to identify business process improvements and deliver SAP-enabled solutions.
• Act as the key liaison between business users, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure alignment of technology with business objectives.
• Oversee SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrades, and enhancement projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and internal governance.
• Develop project roadmaps, define scope, manage budgets, monitor project risks, and ensure timely delivery of transformation initiatives.
• Drive change management efforts to facilitate user adoption, including training, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure SAP architecture and processes align with company policies, cybersecurity guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of internal resources, external vendors, and consultants.
• Monitor and report progress to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability across all phases of the transformation.
• Act as an advisor to the Finance Management on Finance Digital Transformation by maintaining an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, the finance ecosystem, and broader marketplace.
• Responsible for delivery of Finance Transformation Framework and execution of Digital Transformation Steerco on regular intervals to update Finance Management.
• Liaise with Finance, Technology & Solution Provider’s teams to ensure delivery of the assigned projects.
• Ability to anticipate and manage the resolution of complex issues.
• Works directly with Process Owners to identify business changes and develop robust change management interventions to achieve business adoption of new ways of working

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Financial Transformation?

• Minimum 7 to 8 years of progressive experience in SAP projects, including at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role.
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s In Finance / ACCA / CA) preferred. SAP certifications would be an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and related modules (e.g., FICO, REFX, MM, SD, PP, PM etc.).
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex SAP transformation projects in medium to large enterprises.
• Ability to communicate effectively as a program manager with Finance Heads and their teams.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and HR.
• Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills with someone who can think of out of the box transformation ideas for Finance.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain complicated topics in an accessible manner to management and stakeholders
