What is Manager Contracts Management?

The role reports directly to the Head of SCM and Procurement and is meant as an individual contributor. It aims to provide support to the contract management team in finalizing contracts and liaising with other departments to ensure contracts with vendors ensure delivery and terms which are favorable to Jazz.

What does Manager Contracts Management do?

• Closely work with Procurement team to understand inflow of contracts that need to be negotiated and signed.
• Understand complexity of contracts based on scope of work, deliverables, compliances, governance requirements, tax requirements.
• Prioritize contracts based on expiry, complexity and business requirements in consultation with Procurement team and Head of department.
• Liaison with Legal and end user departments to prepare action plan in dealing with prioritized contracts.
• Maintain a list of prioritized contracts.
• Ensure tracking of contracts via ARIBA.
• Development of contract templates which will assist in fast tracking contract closures.
• Maintain a close relationship with Legal and Procurement teams.
• Negotiate prioritized contracts with vendor in consultation with Legal and end user.
• Ensure contract signing of key contracts.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Contracts Management?

Bachelors in Law with at least 5 years of experience working in Telecom environment.

Have experience in working with global vendors.

Have signed and managed large contracts with global vendors.

Demonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation.

Understanding of the legal domain.

Aware of governance principles and able to provide guidance accordingly.

Excellent communication skills.

Collaborative and team spirited.

Proficient in MS Office.

Understanding of SAP / Ariba and Oracle.
