What is Expert Infrastructure Sharing?
As a Techno-Commercial Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead infrastructure sharing initiatives, rollout synchronization, and commercial negotiations with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Build-to-Share (B2S) Tower Companies. The role demands a blend of technical depth and commercial acumen to drive cost efficiency, operational accuracy, and strategic alignment across Jazz’s nationwide rollout programs.
What does Expert Infrastructure Sharing do?
- Act as SME for infrastructure sharing, ensuring cost-efficient site sharing, technical reconciliations, and rollout optimization with MNOs and B2S partners.
- Lead strategic rollout programs at HQ level, including:
- Micro-site rollout initiatives.
- Nationwide MBTS (Mobile BTS) deployments for events and revenue-driven coverage.
- Low Revenue Site (LRS) relocation projects for commercial viability.
- Serve as the primary techno-commercial liaison with B2S partners and TowerCos, handling contract interpretation, commercial negotiations (lease rentals, relocations, reconciliations), and ensuring favorable outcomes for Jazz.
- Engage with PTA, FAB, and other regulatory bodies to secure FAB approvals for frequency allocations, manage site-related submissions, and ensure compliance with national telecom regulations.
- Manage and maintain the Site Master Database (SMDB) as the single source of truth for all active, shared, and relocated sites. Ensure accuracy, timely updates, and alignment across internal technical teams, TowerCos, and OMOs.
- Conduct periodic SMDB reconciliations to validate tenancy records, lease arrangements, cost allocations, and rollout data with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain centralized data repositories for rollouts, MBTS, LRS, and infrastructure sharing, enabling transparency and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regional rollout, power planning, operations, finance, and strategic projects) to ensure on-time delivery and operational readiness.
- Track and report KPIs, risks, and financial impacts to senior management, enabling proactive mitigation.
- Support audit, compliance, and corporate reporting requirements by ensuring completeness and accuracy of project documentation.
Jazz is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate, support, and thrive on diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
