What is Regional Manager FTTx Sales?
The Regional Manager of FTTx Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, operations, and performance for Fiber-to-the-X (FTTx) solutions of designated region(s). This individual will be tasked with growing the customer base, driving revenue, and building strategic relationships with both existing and potential clients. The Regional Manager FTTx Sales should be able to individual contribute and also manage a FTTx sales professionals where available. He will align sales efforts with business goals to achieve assigned targets and ensure the successful implementation & delivery of FTTx products and services.
What Does Regional Manager FTTx Sales Do?
Develop Sales Strategy:
- Define and execute the regional sales strategy for FTTx solutions (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC, etc.) to meet assigned revenue targets.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments for FTTx services.
- Work closely with existing customer base to maintain and upsell assigned product portfolio
- Work closely with Head of department to align FTTx sales goals with company objectives and market positioning.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team focused on FTTx products and services.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure success.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy environment that encourages results and customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term customer retention.
- Engage in discussions with potential customers, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions.
- Serve as the central escalation point for complex or strategic customer issues to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges in the FTTX sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Head of department on how to enhance market positioning and sales tactics.
- Stay updated on technological advancements, industry changes, and regulatory requirements related to FTTx.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Develop and deliver regular reports to Head of department on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline development, and market trends.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, KPIs, and progress against revenue goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of planning, sales and delivery efforts.
Sales Enablement & Process Improvement:
- Assist the creation of sales tools, training materials, and resources that enable the team to sell FTTx solutions effectively.
- Assist and work closely with head of department in evaluating and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the marketing department to create impactful campaigns and promotional materials that drive sales.
Collaboration Across Teams:
- Partner with product, operations, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Provide feedback on product development based on customer feedback and market demand.
- Collaborate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience post-sale.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing FTTx channles and partner accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Demonstrate & ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries, escalations, and service issues efficiently in a dynamic, high-pressure telecom/ ISP operations environment.
- Experience working with telecom, IT, or enterprise solutions is preferred.
